Downtown Development / Specific Plan
While the design guidelines deal with individual buildings in Downtown El Cajon, the Downtown Specific Plan guides long term public and private development. A comprehensive review of the downtown specific plan that will result in developer guidelines, updated design standards, and a complete environmental impact report is well underway.
