The Road Ahead
 The 8th season of the Cajon Classic Cruise will begin June 4, 2008. This is a later start date than usual due to the City of El Cajon’s new streetscape plan. Changes will be made to East Main Street which will cause construction, and the car show will not be able to begin until construction has finished. The El Cajon CDC is excited about the changes, and believes it will help us to bring you an exciting and fresh looking car show.
Pete Liebig will be back this season taking pictures of the trophy winners. Remember to stop by the El Cajon CDC office to pick them up. The East County Gazette will also be on board again as a partner with the El Cajon CDC and Cajon Classic Cruise, to publish photos of the weekly winners. Some of the popular theme nights will be back in 2008, but there will also be some new themes coming your way so stay tuned!
